FAQ

Is Animal Company safe for children?
Rated ESRB Teen (13+). No graphic violence, sexual content, or harmful material. A layered moderation system keeps the community positive: in-game mute/kick/report controls, automatic voice moderation, invite-only private rooms, and appear-offline.
Where can I install Animal Company?
Free from your Meta Quest headset, the Meta Horizon mobile app, or the Meta Quest Store. The Steam version is $20 (includes 5,000 Company Coins with $20 value and a special valve hat cosmetic).
Is Animal Company a free-to-play VR game?

Is Animal Company cross-platform?
No cross play between Meta Quest and SteamVR players — they play on separate servers. Accounts are not linked between Meta and Steam; progress and cosmetics cannot transfer at this stage; SteamVR players start with a fresh account; moderation is handled per platform account; Steam updates match Quest.
What VR headsets support Animal Company?

High-fidelity graphics, 4K resolution video creation via the in-game camera tablet & OBS Studio, smooth gameplay, and no disruption from headset battery cap.
Can I play sitting down, and how much space do I need?
You can play both ways, but you'll want to stand when things get heated! We recommend clearing at least a 2m x 2m (6.5 ft x 6.5 ft) area to account for arm movement.
Can I play with friends online?
Yes! Animal Company is more fun with friends — find new friends in the game or on the Discord server.
